Tarot Deck - 78 Cards

If you love dragons, the dragon tarot deck could be for you. The illustrations and artwork bring the many wondrous characteristics of these mythical creatures alive. The drawings are stunning, detailed and fantastical yet realistic. Some of the images depict dragons as evil creatures, which is not my idea of the dragon archetype. Dragons are mythical creatures, that are angelic and wise in my view.

The basic format of this deck is the same as all other decks, 78 cards on good stock. The text on the cards themselves can be hard to read because of the script typeface, but despite this, I find this a good deck to use. For my love of dragons, I thought I'd write a review on this deck since it seems to me, that not to many people are familiar with it. The cards themselves have a great depth, that will help them last a lifetime.

Above: The minor arcana are also richly illustrated, as seen here in the King of Pentacles.

If you are new to tarot reading, this would be a good starting deck. The Dragon's Tarot comes with a little booklet that, gives you a historical explanation of dragon and the meanings of the cards. The booklet even gives you a brief history of tarot reading in different civilization through out time. The booklet even gives you different examples of how the cards can be read. But, you do have to have knowledge of card reading to fully understand what is being explained. The text is written English, Spanish, french, and dutch.

I like to use these cards with my clients because, I always get some kind of reaction. Most people have never seen the deck before and find it very interesting. Many people wish to look at each card before, I even do a reading. I have found that just about everyone has some kind of fascination with dragons wither it's good or bad. For many it goes back to their childhood. I use this deck a lot because of the energy it gives off. I know, that it was my destiny to use this deck.

I befriended this deck because have always had an interest in dragon. They are beautiful and amazing creatures. I often wonder if they still protected mankind. My great-grandmother would say that I had many dragon spirits around me, protecting me. This is one of my many favorite decks to use. The deck itself seems to have a relaxing affect on people.

Simply put, this is a meaningful and communicative deck. It is easy to learn because a of information comes with the deck. Even if, you don't have a resonate with dragons, the way some of us do, this is still a deck for everyone. It has amazing graphics and can be very easy to use. Although—my one complaint—some of the cards seem offensive to the real dragon lover. No matter how you look at it, the dragon deck gives off a beautiful energy, all it's own.
